Reminder that Culinary Club date has been changed to Thursday, December 18^th. Same time, same dish, same fun! Don’t forget to sign up so we have accurate numbers. SEE Mr. Mitchell if you have not yet signed up.

 

There will be an International Club meeting in the HS library during period X on Monday, December 15th. All students traveling to Italy and Greece are expected to attend.

 

Attention Student Council members, your bags of candy are due TODAY To Mrs. Welty! 

 

The results are in on the voting from Mrs. Foster’s room.  The contest was to find out which of the 6 Rankin Bass Christmas cartoons highlighted from room 206 was the favorite.

The six movies shown were:

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

Frosty the snowman

The little drummer boy

Santa Claus is coming to town

The year without a Santa Claus

Nestor, the long-eared Christmas donkey

 

With 29 valid votes the results are:

Rudolph- 13 votes

Frosty    - 11 votes

The year without a Santa Claus-  3 votes

The little drummer boy-  2 votes

 

Sadly, a lot of you didn’t know what some of the movies were.( including Mrs. Foster’s favorite, Nestor)

Over break, grab some hot cocoa and cookies, watch these movies and enjoy the classics.

Next week we will be celebrating the coming of Christmas Vacation by having Spirit Week.  These are the themes:

 

Monday – CHRISTMAS COLOR WARS – Junior High is white, the Freshmen & Sophomores wear Green, and the Juniors & Seniors are red.

Tuesday – COZY CABIN TUESDAY – Wear flannels, beanies, boots, and scarfs.

Wednesday – FESTIVE SWEATER DAY – Wear Christmas sweater and coordinate from head to toe.

Thursday – TREE TOPPER THURSDAY – Wear festive holiday headgear….headbands, antlers, Santa hats and maybe accent with lightbulb necklaces and socks.

Friday – NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS – Wear Christmas pajamas or Christmas colored jammies.
