Tomorrow’s Spirit Wear is:  “PANTHER PRIDE WINTER WHITE OUT” – Wear all white, with funny hats and sunglasses to school and then to the game to show support of our Panthers.

 

Gamer’s Club will be gathering this Friday, February 3rd, from 2:45 to 5:45 in the High School library.  For more information stop by the Technology Office, Room 210.

 

Hour of Power will be in the fitness center after school on 2/2 and 2/9.  Sign up outside the fitness center. Grab your “swole” mate and come get some gains!!!!!

 

Attention Culinary Clubbers, sign up sheet for the next culinary adventure is outside Mr. Mitchell's room. Mission chocolate chip cookies on Monday, February 6th!

 

 Attention Students! We're going BOWLING after school on Thursday, February 9th. Grab some friends and sign up outside Mr. Mitchell's room! Permission slips are required.  You'll enjoy a shoe rental, two games, pizza, and a drink! Don't delay, sign up today!

 

There is a still a signup sheet in the high school office for anyone interested in becoming a member of the Cattaraugus County Youth Court.  Pick up an informational brochure and sign up in the office by February 3rd.

 

The Winter Weekend theme this year is “MASQUERADE BALL”.  The dance will take place this Saturday from 8 to 11PM.  Presale tickets will be sold until Thursday the 2nd.  Cost is $12 per person and can be purchased from Mrs. Welty.  Prices will increase to $15 per person if bought at the door.  This is a semi-formal dance so proper attire is required….NO JEANS and NO HATS.

 

On Thursday during the pep rally the Winter Weekend Court will be announced. Those students will be recognized at half-time of the Varsity Boys Basketball game versus Randolph the same night.  There, the 2023 King & Queen will be revealed.

  

REMINDER:

#1:  If you are on the Academic Ineligibility list and have not been attending Study Center, you will not be permitted to attend the dance. 

#2:  If you intend on bringing someone from a different school, you must get a permission slip from the office for them to sign and return it to Mrs. Welty before Friday the 3rd.

#3:  If you would like to bring a student that has already graduated high school, they must be a graduate of PCS.

 

Here is your PCS Sports news…The boys and girls bowling teams won last night against Hinsdale.  The boys went 4-0 and the girls 3-1.  Emma Pinney 571 bowled a series and Kiyah Mohr bowled a 386 series

 

Congratulations to our JV lady panther basketball team on their dominating win over Cassadaga Valley last night.  Emma Rhinehart led the way with 12 points and Ashley Carls had 11.   Ali Haynes chipped in 9 points while Ava Jo Edwards, Bella Morales, and Addison Isaman each had 7 points apiece.  Keep up the great work ladies!!!

 

The junior trio of Lilly Bentley, Jackie Scanlon, and Ava Haynes helped lead the Lady Panthers to victory over Cassadaga Valley. The stats were as follows: Bentley with 20 PTS, 11 RB, 4B, 4S, 3A;  Haynes with a career-high 15 PTS, 8 RB, 3S; Scanlon with 13 PTS, 4A. Teagan Kosinski also had a great game with 5A and 3S. Congrats LPB!
