A reminder to boys in Junior High Chorus – please meet Mrs. Archer at Panther Pause by 8:00 this morning!

 

LAST CALL for the driver’s ed course that begins in March.  You must be signed up with Mrs. McCracken by January 31st

  

Attention students in 7th thru 12th Grade….Are you passionate about video games?  Have you ever thought about being a member of an Esports team?  Join us on Tuesday, January 31st, as we tour the brand new Esports arena on the JCC Cattaraugus campus.  Stop by the main office to sign-up.  Permission slips are due no later than Friday, January 27th.

 

If you would like to see Avatar at the AMC next Wednesday, please come see Mr. Steighner to sign up and get a permission slip. This is open to anyone in 7-12th grade. Avatar, - If you already signed up – you need to come get a permission slip from Mr. Steighner as soon as possible.  

  

7-12th graders have the opportunity to go tubing at Holiday Valley on Saturday, February 4th.  The bus will leave at 11:45, and return to the school around 4:15pm.  Lunch will be provided.  Permissions slips are outside Mrs. Morella’s room, 201.  Spots are limited, so return your permission slip to reserve your spot!

Reminder the circus will be on Saturday January 28th at 6:30 in the High School Gym.  If you are 13 years old or older you will need to purchase a ticket.  Get your pre-sale tickets now, don’t wait!  The price increases the night of the show. Stop by the high school office and get your ticket from Mrs. Baker for only $15!!!  Children 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult!!

 

The Lady Panthers improved to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the league by racing to a 24-5 halftime lead over Gowanda and never looked back. Lilly Bentley recorded a double-double of 15 points, 11 rebounds, and had 4 steals. Ava Haynes had 11 points and 6 boards. Highlights of the game were Emma Elliott's sweet dish to Jackie Scanlon for the easy layup and Avery DeFazio's donkey kick at mid-court. Congrats ladies! 

 

Come support the boys hoops teams tonight as they have home games versus Frewsburg. The game has been designated as a blackout! 

 

There will be a Student Council meeting on Monday during Period X in the library. We will be finalizing Winter Weekend ideas and choosing Spirit Week themes. Come to meeting prepared. 

Reminder to all students and Teachers and Staff: We only have a few people that have donated to the box in the office.   If you can, please bring in dog and cat items as specified on the SPCA flyer by end of next week. Thank you PCS for helping furry friends in need!
