Chorus lessons today are:  Pd 2- Mackenzie, Pd 7- Allie, and Pd 9 - Parker

 

7-12th graders have the opportunity to go tubing at Holiday Valley on Saturday, February 4th.  The bus will leave at 11:45, and return to the school around 4:15pm.  Lunch will be provided.  Permissions slips are outside Mrs. Morella’s room, 201.  Spots are limited, so return your permission slip to reserve your spot!

 

"There will be an After-School Movie Night happening on January 24th in Miss Giardini's room. Stop by to sign-up and get a permission slip!"

 

Attention Young Chefs! Head east for the next Culinary Club adventure! California Rolls and Tempura!   The date has been changed… It will be MONDAY, January 23rd, sign up today outside Mr. Mitchell’s room.

 

Reminder the circus will be on Saturday January 28th at 6:30 in the High School Gym.  If you are 13 years old or older you will need to purchase a ticket.  Get your pre-sale tickets now, don’t wait!  The price increases the night of the show. Stop by the high school office and get your ticket from Mrs. Baker for only $15!!!  Children 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult!!

 

Come to the fitness center for another Hour of POWERRRR this Thursday, January 19th and next Tuesday, January 24th for some weight room skills and fun. All skill levels welcome! Sign up outside the fitness center.

 

Reminder to all students and Teachers and Staff: PCS is assisting in a special drive to support the SPCA in Cattaraugus County.  Please check out the flyers posted and if you can help by donating, please bring in dog and cat items as specified on the flyer. Thank you PCS for helping furry friends in need!

 

Congratulations to the indoor track athletes that competed in Houghton over the weekend. Jessica Daley and Julia Wyant were a part of the 4 by 400 meter relay team that placed third. Aryanna Hatch and Sam Bray were a part of the 4 by 800 meter relay team that placed 4th and Julia Wyant also placed 5th in the 55 meter dash. Keep up the great work!

 

Both the girls and boys bowling teams won last night vs Ellicottville, 4-0. Emma Pinney bowled a 415 series and Kiyah Mohr bowled a 364 series. 

 

The Portville 7th grade modified lost to Franklinville 32-10.  Trystan Harvey led the way offensively with 6 points.  Nathan Perkins did a nice job on the boards and Aaron Sterns did a great job hustling on defense.  The 8th grade boys beat Franklinville 57-32.  Colin German led the way with 22 points.  Sabre Herne added 18.  Both 7th and 8th grade boys play this Thursday in Salamanca.
