 Trap sign ups continue this week. Grades 7-12 are eligible. Again, make sure you sign up in the Main Office before next Friday.  Season will start the end of January. More information to follow. See Ms. Wenke with any questions. Thanks! 

 

Today is the day to make CHRISTMAS TREE RICE KRISPIE TREATS at the Culnary Club meeting after school.....YUM !!!  ….. sign up is outside Mr. Mitchell's room!

 

Gamer’s Club will be meeting this Friday, December 16th, from 2:45 to 5:45 in the High School library.  For more information stop by the Technology Office, Room 210.

  

This week is the chance to make Christmas ornaments with Mr. McInnis and Mr. Suain in Portville's own Envisioneering Center—the two-day, after-school workshop will be offered tomorrow and Thursday, and is limited to 16 students!  Sign up today outside of the Envisioneering Center! 

 

Tomorrow is the afterschool Ice Skating trip for students signed up with Miss Giardini.  You'll need to return your signed permission slip to attend. 

  

Reminder to all animal lovers:    On Saturday, December 17th,, from noon-2pm, PCS is offering a SPCA shelter visit for any student, in grades 7-12.  The bus will depart at 11:45 and return by 2:15.  The signup sheet is located outside of Ms. Judy Maxson’s room #202.   In order to reserve a spot, you will need to sign up and return the SPCA volunteer waiver form.  This waiver is also located outside of Ms. Maxson’s room.  There are only 20 spots available, so hurry up and get that waiver signed!

 

Students are once again reminded that the use of cell phones, Ear Buds, or any other external listening devices during class or in the hallways are prohibited.  These items should be stored in lockers during the school day, or put in phone pockets in classrooms.  You may use phones at your lockers or in the cafeteria.  Again, no earbuds are to worn while walking down the hall or in classes.

 

Congratulations to the indoor track athletes that competed over the weekend at Houghton College. Julia Wyant placed first in the 300 meter dash and the 4 by 200 meter relay. Jessica Daley was also a part of the 4 by 200 meter relay. Jenna Wyant placed second in the 55 meter dash and was a part of the 4 by 400 meter relay that also placed second. Sam Bray was a part of the 4 by 800 meter relay placing fourth. Congrats again Girls!
