Any student in grades 7th through 12th who would like to be a member of the PCS Student Council, applications are in the HS Main Office.  They are due back to Mrs. Welty by Friday, September 30th

Spirit Week starts next week so be on the lookout for signs. To get things started, in conjunction with the dance and its “HOLLYWOOD” theme, Monday will be Celebrity Day….so dress like a famous person! From what we understand, Adam Sandler is going to be roaming the halls of PCS!

The Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, October 8th from 8pm until 11pm.  Cost is $12 per person and can be purchased in Mrs. Welty's room (#230) before and after school, as well as during periods 5th & 6th.  Prices will increase to $15 per person if bought at the door.  Presale tickets will be sold until Thursday the 6th.  This is a semi-formal dance so proper attire is required.  Girls wear dresses and boys wear dress-pants with a collared shirt and shoes......NO JEANS, NO SNEAKERS, AND NO HATS.

Some important notes regarding Homecoming:

#1:  Only grades 9th through 12th are permitted to attend.

#2:  If you intend on bringing someone from a different school, you must get a permission slip from the main office for them to sign and return it to Mrs. Welty BEFORE Friday the 7th.

#3:  If you would like to bring a student that has already graduated high school, they must be a graduate of PCS.

Now for News from the PCS Sports World!..........The boys modified soccer team defeated Salamanca 9-0 last night. Leading the way for the Panthers was Luke Edwards with a hat trick and a shutout. Garrett Reynolds and Parker Kiem both scored 2 while Aiden Richardson and Thomas Mackey both chipped in 1. The boys have moved to 6-3 on the season.

The boys varsity soccer team defeated Salamanca/Catt L V last night 4-0. Cole Faulkner scored off a feed from Simon Szymanski to get it started for the Panthers. Then the Randolph twins each had a goal of their own. Chris Austin also scored off a scrum in front of the net to seal the deal. Great job boys!  Please come support the boys on Monday as we honor our seniors, and take on league rival, Randolph. Game starts at 6:30.
