Seniors: there will be a senior meeting on Friday during Period X in the high school cafeteria. We will be discussing the upcoming homecoming chicken BBQ. 

 

Reminder the PCS Soapbox Derby team will be racing in the Olean Area Soapbox Derby this Saturday, September 17th. Come out and show your support!

 

TODAY IS THE DAY …..Class Officer applications need be returned to the main office by the end of the school day today.

 

 Art Society's first meeting will be tomorrow in room 103.  Please see Ms. Burdick if you have any questions.

 

There will be an International Club meeting on Friday, September 16th during per X in the LECTURE HALL. We will vote for officers, discuss our upcoming fundraiser, and hear all about our next trip in 2024 to Costa Rica! New members grades 8 and up are welcome to attend! See Ms. Nolder for details.

 

"The girls' modified soccer team had an amazing victory over the Franklinville Panthers. Each member of the team contributed to the fantastic win. Great work ladies!"

 

Last night the varsity soccer team defeated Franklinville 5 to 1. Meghan Lyle had two goals and an assist, Olivia Dean, Madison Jobe, and Kendyl Rogers scored once, and Janet Marshall added an assist. Minion winner Courtney Whippo added an assist, and won the Minion for fighting through adversity throughout the game. Mackenzie Harmon earned the win in net. Portville heads to CattLV on Saturday.

 

The JV volleyball team defeated Allegany-Limestone 2-1 last night.  Ali Haynes led the panthers with 17 aces & 4 kills, Hanna Wysocki added 5 kills and 7 aces and Gaitley Maiolo 4 Digs and 2 kills while Maddy Ford chipped in 7 digs and Adelyn Walker ran the offense with 7 assists.   The Panthers host The St. Mary’s Lancers at 5:00. Please wear your white. 

 

The Varsity Volleyball team defeated allegany-Limestone in 3 sets 25-10, 25-14 & 25-12. Jillian Stebbins’s led the offense with 29 assists served for 16 points with 6 aces.    Ava Haynes with a double double 15 digs and 11 kills.   Tori Unverdorben also with a double double with 10 kills and 17 digs and 3 aces Lillian Bentley 9 kills, and 3 aces, Brielle Fidurko 2 blocks and 3 kills. The Panthers will be at home this evening vs St. Mary’s of Lancaster! This will be a “White out” please come out and show your support as they battle the Lancers at 6:30.

Reminder …The Academic Club is looking for new recruits!    Stop in at the main office to sign up before Friday, September 16th . Spaces are limited. Successful applicants will be contacted directly.  Practices are held weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
