Attention academic scholars, smart kids & trivia fans

Here is the Academic Club’s question of the day:

In the Harry Potter series, which student first possessed a time turner?

If you’re a Jeopardy master or an up and coming scholar who knows a thing or two, show off your skills and get credit for your knowledge. The Academic Club is looking for new recruits!

The Academic Club lets you flex your mental muscles in the areas of Literature, Science, Math, History, Current Events, Trivia, and more.

Signing up couldn’t be easier. Simply stop in at the main office, and print your name and contact information on the Academic Club sign-up sheet now through Friday, September 16. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon. Successful applicants will be contacted directly.

Practices are held weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Late bus transportation will be available if needed…

By the way, the student who first possessed a time turner is Hermione (Her-MY-oh-nee) Granger. Right or wrong, sign up for the Academic Club in the main office today!
