The Portville modified baseball team opened the season with a 9-5 win over visiting Olean. After a slow start and trailing through much of the first three innings, a big offensive attack plated five runs in the bottom of the fourth and all but sealed the game for the panthers. Portville was led by Conner Roulo (1-2) with a triple, Zach Green (3-3) with a triple and two singles, and Colin German (3-4) with three singles and two RBI's. Ty Kosinski and Cam Kessler also added two hits a piece as well as two RBI's each. On the defensive side, Ty Kosinski, Dylan Wenke, and Liam Taylor combined to strikeout 6. Great job boys!
