Good Morning Portville Panthers!

TODAY IS…Monday, March 14th, 2022

It is an “ F “  Day

The library is back.  Come pick out a book or get a pass from your teacher to come down and work on subject work.

The Student Council in conjunction with the American Red Cross is hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 22nd from 8AM to 2PM in the High School Gym.  Anyone age 16 and older is eligible to donate.  Please see Mrs. Welty to get the proper paperwork and get signed up.  They are bringing extra staff since our last two drives have been so successful.  There is an urgent need for blood and this is a perfect opportunity for you to do a good deed and help save lives.  Please consider donating!

This coming Thursday is St. Patrick’s Day.  It would be great if we could get everyone to wear GREEN that day!  To coincide with the festivities, the Senior Class will be sponsoring a HAT DAY this THURSDAY as well.  Maybe you will sport a leprechaun hat, a set of shamrock ears, a green bonnet, or just a regular baseball cap.  No matter what you decide to wear on your head will cost you $1.  Seniors will come around in the morning to first period classes to collect money and give those participating a hat ticket. Days like this are best when the majority of students and staff participate!

Attention Juniors & Seniors, your PROM is on Saturday, June 4th at Bartlett Country Club. Listen to the announcements as we will be having a meeting sometime soon to select a theme and to start working on the decorations for those that are interested in helping.

Students who are interested in taking a Summer Driver Ed Program – please stop by the Guidance Office to sign up soon or receive more information.

We are still looking for students to sign up for Bowling at Good Times that will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd.   Please sign up today outside of Mr. Mitchell's room and make sure you pick a permission slip.  We need 20 students to be able to go!

Tomorrow is the after school ICE SKATING trip.   Those students that haven’t signed up yet and want to go must sign up today.  All permission slips are due tomorrow morning.  Stop by the main office.

Attention all 7th and 8th graders interested in playing modified baseball, there will be a brief meeting in Mr. Wallace’s room (229) tomorrow after school. If you plan on playing baseball, please make sure you attend. If you have any questions, stop by Mr. Wallace’s room!
