Spring may be in the air, but there is still time for a Winter activity.  Portville 7-12th graders have the opportunity to go tubing at Holiday Valley on Tuesday March 8th.  The bus will leave at 2:45, and students will return to the school around 7:30pm.  Pizza will be provided.  Permission slips are outside of Mrs. Smith’s room, 203.  Spots are limited, and are first come first served, so return your permission slips to Mrs. Morella or Mrs. Smith as soon as possible.

The SPCA visit is happening this Saturday, March 5th.  Please note:  There are NO more spots available.  If you wanted to go but did not return your consent form or had other commitments, we are hoping to have another SPCA visit in late March.  Those who have returned their consent form and are planning to go, please report to the bus circle by 11:30, this Saturday.  We will depart at 11:45.  Our return time is scheduled to be 12:15pm.

Also, everyone, this week, we are collecting donations for the animals of the SPCA.  There will be a donation box in Mrs. Smith and Ms. Judy Maxson’s room.  Ideas for donations include:   collars, blankets, toys, unopened food, etc.    If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Smith or Ms. Judy Maxson.

There will be a spectator bus for the Girls Basketball playoff game at Jamestown Community College this Thursday, March 3rd at 8PM versus Silver Creek.  This is a semifinal game and the Lady Panthers could really use same support they have been getting at all of the home games!  There is a sign-up sheet in the main office.  Please stop down and sign-up as soon as possible so we know if we have enough to take a bus.  The payment of $5 to purchase your ticket is due to the main office by 10AM on Thursday morning. The bus will leave for Jamestown at 6:30PM from the entrance by the gym and should return around 10:30PM.  Please wear maroon in support of Panther Pride!
