A reminder to Drama Club members – please check your Teams page daily for updates! There will be rehearsals today, February 8th and tomorrow, February 9th in Mrs. Maxson’s room. These are blocking rehearsals to make up for last Friday’s Snow Day and this Friday’s Winter Weekend activities. Please make every effort to attend.

 

Attention students …..Study Center for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9th and  next Wednesday, February 16th will be held in Room 203 with Mrs. Smith.

 

Attention International Club travelers, there will be a virtual meeting on TEAMS 2/15 7pm Please tune in with your parents for extremely important trip details. All travelers are encouraged to attend. Details, see Ms. Nolder

 

Reminder …Culinary Club is starting up  every Wednesday after school!  Space is limited so be sure to sign-up outside Mr. Mitchells room.  The first meeting is TOMORROW from 2:30-4:00. Transportation home is available. We will be doing Mission Impastable- homemade fresh pasta with a homemade red sauce and meatballs. Yum, Yum in the Tum, Tum!

 

TODAY IS “Ice Skating” at the William O Smith Recreation Center.   Students that signed up and returned a permission slip are asked to be at the main entrance and ready to load the bus at 2:45 pm. 

 

Another New After School Activity that is scheduled to take place this Thursday is “WALKING AND YOGA” with Mrs. VanCuren.  Spots are limited… if you are interested, please sign up in her Art Room.  also, if you need transportation home, please make sure you sign up for the bus that day in the main office.

SPIRIT WEEK continues.   The more students & faculty that participate, the better Spirit Week is!  Tomorrow IS DATE NIGHT VS. NETFLIX – Dress to impress or wear your lazy attire.  And as always, please follow the PCS Dress Code. 

 

Attention all students in grades 7-12: Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Don't get Friend Zoned this year and send the classy gift that will keep you out of the friend zone. Send a CandyGram! For a dollar, you can send a message to someone special, for 3 dollars, send a message and candy, and for the high rollers who want to take it to a new level, 5 dollars gets your Valentine a message, candy, and a song from one of our two cupids, Matteson Fries and Tom Carls. Get yours during lunch periods Monday through Thursday.

 

 Reminder ….Winter Weekend, titled “Cupid Shuffle” will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 8 to 11pm.  Tickets are on sale until THURSDAY the 11th, so if you want presale tickets, you must purchase by that day. Plan accordingly and do not wait until the last minute. Cost is $12 per person in advance or $15 per person at the door and can be purchased in Mrs. Welty’s room. If you intend on bringing someone from a different school, you must pick up a permission form from the office to have their home district administrator sign and then bring it to Mrs. Welty. Once again, do NOT wait until the last minute. As a reminder, the dance is for students in grades 9th through 12th only and proper semi-formal attire is to be worn.

 

Our bowlers had their last match last night.  Here is how they ended up for the season:   Emma Pinney bowled a 342 series last night.  She finished the season 14th overall in average with a 127.  Kiyah Mohr bowled a 378 series last night.   She finished the season 19th overall in average with a 122.  The girls finished season with a record of 46-2. The girls are the league champs!  Nice work this season girls! 

 

The 8th grade boys modified lost last night to Franklinville 32-24.  Jake Zeigler led the way with 8 points and a strong effort on the boards.  Ty Kosinski and Daniel VanBuskirk also contributed offensively with buckets.  Both 7th and 8th grade teams play this Wednesday in Salamanca.
