Winter Weekend, titled “Cupid Shuffle” will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 8 to 11pm.  Tickets are on sale until THURSDAY the 11th, so if you want presale tickets, you must purchase by that day. Plan accordingly and do not wait until the last minute. Cost is $12 per person in advance or $15 per person at the door and can be purchased in Mrs. Welty’s room. If you intend on bringing someone from a different school, you must pick up a permission form from the office to have their home district administrator sign and then bring it to Mrs. Welty. Once again, do NOT wait until the last minute. As a reminder, the dance is for students in grades 9th through 12th only and proper semi-formal attire is to be worn.

The Senior Class will be sponsoring a HAT DAY this FRIDAY at a cost of $1. Seniors will come around in the morning to first period classes to collect money and give those participating a ticket. To coincide with the HAT DAY and the fact that the Boys Varsity Basketball team has a home game, the day is also designated as JERSEY DAY.  Wear your favorite jerseys in support of the boys and come watch them play. JV starts at 6PM with the Varsity immediately following.

The Lady Panthers improved to 5 and 0 in league play, and 12 and 2 overall with a 59 to 37 win over Gowanda on Friday night.  Mallory Welty went 8-for-10 from three-point land and finished with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Ava Haynes had a career-night on the glass recording 15 boards, while also chipping in 8 points.  Teagan Kosinski had some great passes and led the team with 4 assists. She also had 2 steals.  Lilly Bentley had 9 points aiding in the victory. The girls have a tough league game tonight and would love to see the PCS student body and faculty there to support. JV starts at 6PM with Varsity set to begin around 7:30PM.
