Good Morning Portville Panthers!

TODAY IS…Wednesday, October 20th, 2021                               It is an “F”  Day

  Hey Portville Panthers……Winter Sports Season is fast approaching and now is your time to sign up for your favorite sport Wrestling. ANYONE in 7-12 can sign up now outside Coach Milne or Coach Burlingame's room. If you are unsure just stop and speak with one of the Coaches. Modified season runs through November and December and is open to ALL 7th & 8th Graders. It is a great opportunity to be introduced to the spport if you have never participated in it. If you are older there is a JV and Varsity  level that you can develop at. Female wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and our section and state has committed to providing all female tournaments. Portville has a long successful history in wrestling with several Sectional and State Place finishers. Come be part of making Portville Panther History. Hope to see your name on the list. The Student Council in conjunction with the American Red Cross is hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 2nd from 8AM to 2PM in the High School Gym.  Anyone age 16 and older is eligible to donate.  Please see Mrs. Welty to get the proper paperwork and get signed up.  There is an urgent need for blood and this is a perfect opportunity for you to do a good deed and help save lives.  Please consider donating!

The JV Volleyball team defeated Southwestern 3-0 last evening. 

Adriana Ensell had 5 kills, Mia Rhinehart 6 digs, 6 aces, Emilie Edick 3 aces, 3 digs and Addie Walker 6 aces and 5 assists.   The JV team will host olean on Thursday at 5:00. 

 

The varsity lady panther volleyball team defeated Southwestern last evening 25-11,25-11, 25-10

Kylie Blessing ran the offense with 32 assists, Both Tori Unverdorben and Olivia Cook contributed 13 kills a piece, Lillian Bentley also added 10 kills and Sam steadman 5 aces, 4 digs. 

The Lady Panthers will host Olean for their senior night on Thursday with a 6:30 Start time.
