Good Morning PCS Panthers…

TODAY is Tuesday, February 20th, 2024

It is a “ B “  Day.

Friday’s Trivia answer:  One of the “Big 6”, this individual was a predominant part in the March on Washington, “Bloody Sunday”, the march from Selma to Montgomery, held his House of Representative position for 34 years and coined the termed “Good Trouble”.   The answer is John Lewis.  Lewis was also influential in passing the Voting Rights Act and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2011.  This week’s correct answer was brought in by:  Zach Morella and Simon Szymanski.

Portville 7-12th graders have the opportunity to go tubing at Holiday Valley on Wednesday, February 28th.  The bus will leave at 3:30, and students will return to the school around 8pm.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.  Permission slips are outside of Room 201.  Please return your permission slips to Mrs. Morella or Mrs. Smith.

The Lady Panthers will be hosting a pre-quarter basketball game on Wednesday at 7PM versus Falconer.  The girls have already defeated the Lady Falcons on two occasions, and we all know it is hard to beat a team three times in the same season.  It would be great if the student body and faculty would come support the girls in their first round of playoffs.  The theme for the game is “JERSEY DAY”.  Please consider supporting LPB in their playoff run!!
