Attention aspiring chefs in grades 7-12. The next Culinary Club is TOMORROW right after school. We will be baking Chewy Maple Cookies and Coconut Macarons.
The beekeepers club meeting that was scheduled for today after school has been postponed until next Tuesday, February 13, 2024 afterschool in Mr. Canfield’s room.
Looking for something to do on President’s Day, Monday February 19th? Portville will be taking students, grades 7-12, to see the Buffalo Sabre’s take on the Anaheim Ducks. Spots are limited to the first 30 people. Please sign-up in the high school office. See Mrs. Sosnowski or Mrs. Morella, room 201, for details.
REMINDER 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS!!! There will be a dance, just for you, this Friday, February 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM in the high school gym. Cost is $3 per person at the door and bring a little extra spending money for pizza and snacks. This fun event is brought to you by the Class of 2025.

REMINDER you MUST have your physical and code of conduct taken care of PRIOR to trying out! If you need a physical spring sports physicals are taking place at school on Wednesday, February 7th please sign up in the nurses office. NO PHYSICAL = NO TRYOUT. Congratulations to the Lady Panthers for picking up their tenth victory of the season by defeating Cassadaga Valley in a league matchup last night. Lilly Bentley had a career night by scoring 34 points, pulling down 13 boards, and ripping away 5 steals. Ava Haynes ended with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Those two scored every single point for the Panthers in the final quarter. Ali Haynes had 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Emma Rhinehart led the team with 4 assists, and Jackie Scanlon hit 3 three-pointers. The next home game is on Monday, 02/12, where we will acknowledge our six seniors. Please make a point of attending to celebrate Avery DeFazio, Emma Elliott, Meghan Lyle, Ava Haynes, Jackie Scanlon, and Lillian Bentley.
