Here are a few little-known facts about Christmas:  The first Christmas happened in 336AD in Rome.  The world’s tallest Christmas tree was a 221 ft. Douglas fir in Seattle, Washington.  Tinsel was originally made from real silver. December 25 is based on the birthday of the pagan god of the sun, Saturnalia.  And finally, our trivia question of the week, brought to you by the Culture Club.  What group made celebrating Christmas illegal in the 17th century?  The first person to get the answer correct in Guidance with Mrs. Pascucci gets a prize!

Gamer’s Club will be gathering afterschool TODAY from 2:45 to 5:45pm in the High School library.  For more information stop by the Technology Office, Room 210.

Reminder to all students that there is NO SCHOOL Tomorrow as your Holiday Break  begins.  Students return from break on Wednesday, January 3rd.   On behalf of all teachers and staff from PCS – we wish you and all your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
