The answer to Friday’s Trivia questions:  What does the Menorah mean in Hebrew and which candle on the menorah is lit first?  The word menorah means LAMP in Hebrew and the first candle to be lit is the center candle called the Shamash which is used to light all the other candles.  Our winners were Cason Dick,  Chase Caldwell and Jude Auman who received yummy treats for getting the answers correct.  Make sure to listen again this Friday for more Culture Club trivia questions.

Now for your PCS SPORTS NEWS….

The Lady Panthers improved to 4-0 over the weekend by defeating Bradford and Allegany-Limestone.  They captured the Randy Stebbins Memorial Basketball Tournament title that took place in Otto-Eldred.  Lilly Bentley was named the tourney MVP, while Ava Haynes was an all-tourney selection.  Throughout the weekend, Bentley had 31 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, and 5 blocks; Haynes had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 7 steals, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.  Also contributing to the victories were Emma Rhinehart with 16 points, 2 steals, and 5 assists; Meghan Lyle with 11 points; and Jackie Scanlon with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists.  The girls have a home game on Friday versus Southwestern.  It would be wonderful if the student body would show up to support!

Congratulations to the indoor track athletes that competed at Houghton this past Friday.
