The Lady Panthers started out the season by earning the ACE Tournament Championship.  On Friday night, they defeated Cuba-Rushford in convincing fashion as Lilly Bentley had 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals and Jackie Scanlon had 9 points and 4 steals.  In their first Varsity games, Ali Haynes had 8 points and Emma Rhinehart contributed 3 steals and 3 assists.  In the Championship game versus Pioneer, the girls were truly tested and didn’t get a comfortable separation until the end of third quarter.  Even then, the game was still intense and competitive.  MVP Bentley filled the stat sheet with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 blocks.  Scanlon had 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals, while Meghan Lyle was the spark we needed in the first half scoring all 8 of her points.  Congratulations Lady Panthers!  Lifting is right after school with practice in the North gym immediately following.
