Good Morning PCS Panthers…

TODAY is Tuesday, November 21st, 2023.

It is a “ D “  Day

There is NO After School B.F.S. today… again there is No After School BFS today.

November is National American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month.  There are many things we wouldn’t have today if not for the contributions of Native people.  One invention, skiers, and snow boarders, can say thank you for, are snow goggles.  The Inuit people developed these to help against the glare of the sun on the snow.   The second is our trivia question brought to you by the Culture Club.   What popular summer hobby, people young and old enjoy, wouldn’t exist without this Inuit invention?   First person to come to Guidance with the correct answer get a prize.

There will be a Drama Club Meeting on Tuesday, November 28th afterschool in Mrs. Maxson’s room 120. Please make every effort to be there!

25 students in grades 8-12 are invited to see the Nutcracker at Shea's with Mrs. Cheri Maxson & Mrs. Weimer on Saturday, December 2, at 7:00PM. Please see Mrs. Maxson to sign up.

7-12th graders have also been invited to see Annie the Musical at Shea’s Performing Arts Center on December 22nd.  You will be treated to a buffet-style lunch at the Bijou restaurant, followed by a performance of one of the greatest musicals.  Spots are limited.  Please see Mrs. Morella or Mrs. Sosnowki in room 201 for additional details and a permission slip.”

The 7th graders won their first game of the season last night defeating Olean 15-11. Scoring for the Lady Panthers were Myra Ueblhear with 2 points,  Kylie Maedl with 5 points and Lilly Deck with 8 points.

The 8th grade girls team continue their winning streak by beating Olean last night 24-17.
