Congratulations to Emilie Edick and Abby Gardner who will be representing PCS at the Senior High Area All-State Music Festival this weekend in Fredonia! 

 

Attention all freshmen your money and order forms are due to Mrs Smith today, November 17th. Please drop them off to room 203.

 

Anyone through grades 9-12th that would like to help and / or volunteer for broadcasting morning announcements in the future, as well as gain hours towards ‘Portville College Scholarships’. Message either Ms. Smith and or one of your fellow peers such as, junior class president ‘David Brown’.

 

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT… come to the Auditorium at 7pm or tomorrow at 2pm or 7pm for the Drama Club Play as secrets unravel, tempting treats take center stage and the PCS Stage becomes a playground for scandal. Be prepared for a delectable dose of mystery, mischief and mouthwatering performances that will leave you craving more! Adults are $10.00 and Students are $ 8.00. You can scan the QR code on any poster in the building or purchase them in person from Mrs. Maxson in room 120.

 

25 students in grades 8-12 are invited to see the Nutcracker at Shea's with Mrs. Cheri Maxson & Mrs. Weimer on Saturday, December 2, at 7:00PM. Please see Mrs. Maxson to sign up. 

 

 7-12th graders have also been invited to see Annie the Musical at Shea’s Performing Arts Center on December 22nd.  You will be treated to a buffet-style lunch at the Bijou restaurant, followed by a performance of one of the greatest musicals.  Spots are limited.  Please see Mrs. Morella or Mrs. Sosnowki in room 201 for additional details and a permission slip.”

 

The 7th grade girls lost a tough game to Salamanca last night. Scoring for the Lady Panthers were Lilly Deck and Harley Weatherley with 6 points each, Katie Maedl and Brecia Sena scored 2 points each. Nice job girls!  The 8th grade girls won against Salamanca. Scoring for the Lady Panthers were Allie Bray with 10 points, Sophia Milligan and Kaylin Elliot each had 6 points, Arianna Whittaker had 4, Sophia Miller had 3 and Marly Ueblhear scored her first basket! Nice win girls! Next game is Monday at Olean. 

 

Reminder to students that are on the academic ineligibility list – you must follow the guidelines to participate in any extra-curricular activities like Clubs. Afterschool programs and Sports.   In order to participate, you must either be attending study center each day Monday thru Friday or turn notes of passing grades in to Mr. Welty to get off the list.  If you are on the list and not attending study center, you must leave the school after the end of day bell.  Any questions, please see Mr. Welty in the high school office.  

 

FINALLY… PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SCHOOL CALENDAR SHOWS A HALF DAY ON THIS COMING MONDAY BUT IT IS ONLY FOR STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.  SORRY, NO HALF DAY FOR 7TH THRU 12TH GRADE STUDENTS.   YOU HAVE A FULL DAY OF SCHOOL ON MONDAY.  You also have a FULL DAY of School on Tuesday.
