Good Morning PCS Panthers…

 TODAY is Thursday, November 2nd, 2023.                          It is a “ D “  Day

 

Attention students and faculty!  Are you Interested in different cultures, foods, and people?  Want to build your resume for jobs and colleges?  Come join the Culture Club!  The Culture Club’s mission is to be an organization of students and faculty working to create safe spaces to discuss diversity and provide opportunities to explore diverse cultures from around our world and within our community.   Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 6th during Period X in Mr. Franzen’s room – 226.  See Mr. Kicior, Mrs. Pascucci, or Mr. Franzen for a pass to attend ahead of time!

 

 On Monday, 11/20, 7-12 students are invited see the new Marvel movie at AMC. Watch an unlikely trio team up to save the universe as "The Marvels." Sign up outside of Mr. Steighner's room. You'll need a permission slip to attend.

 

The Student Council in conjunction with the American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Tuesday, November 7th in the high school gym. Anyone age 16 and older is eligible. Please sign up with Mrs. Welty and help save three lives with your donation.

 

The Lady Panther Hoops Open Gym for grades for 7th through 12th continues TODAY from 5:30 – 7PM.  Any questions, see Coach Welty.

 

Here is your PCS SPORTS !...........

The varsity volleyball team defeated falconer  last night 25-11, 25-4 & 25-13.   Lilian Bentley and Ava Haynes both tallied 12 kills, Lillian also had 3 blocks and Ava 11 digs. Ali Haynes 6 kills and  Adriana Ensell 11 digs, 6 aces, 4 kills, Mia Rhinehart 5 aces, 11 digs.  Max Prep player of the match Adelyn Walker led the offense with 30 Assists, served for 18 points with 3 aces and 4 digs.   The team will be back to southwestern on Friday for another 5:00 match.
