Attention all 10th Graders! If you haven’t yet picked up your fundraiser packet from Mrs. Kosinski’s room – please do so today! They are located inside her room by the door. Message her with any questions.

 

"Attention students interested in Ski Club, there will be a meeting TODAY  Period X in Mr. Pleakis' room, 102." 

 

STUDENTS …If you are doing the DAR Essay this morning, please be in the guidance office at 8:50 with your laptops.

 

 Reminder to students going on the Urban Air trip. The bus leaves at 2:45 on Tuesday from the bus circle. You must have your permission slip AND waiver form turned in to be able to go. These need to be turned in to Mr. Mitchell.

 

Back by popular demand!!  Gamer’s Club will be gathering this Friday, October 27th, from 2:45 to 5:45 in the High School library.  For more information stop by the Technology office, room 210.

 The high school band, junior high band, and jazz band are presenting a fall concert this Thursday at 7 PM. We need someone to film the concert. If you have experience using a camcorder and you are interested in helping out the music department, please send a message to Mr. Archer in teams.

 

Reminder to students in 7th-12th – there will be a trip on Friday, November 3rd to Funland in Wellsville for an evening of roller skating, food and fun! Come with us to FunLand for two action packed hours of skating, pizza and pop. Sign up and Permission slips in the main office. See Ms Nolder for details.

 

Now for some news for the PCS Sports World:

 

Any student interested in playing a Winter sport, this includes Basketball, Wrestling, Competitive Cheer, and Boys Volleyball....signup sheets are in the math hallway. If your name is not on a list, it is assumed you aren't interested in participating. Modified sports begin on November 1st while Varsity & JV will begin on November 13th. 

 

Sign-ups for the Allegany/Olean/Portville bowling team are happening now. The season begins on November 14th. This is for grades 7-12, with some stipulations for 7th and 8th graders. For more information on how to sign-up through Allegany please contact Mrs. Pinney in the elementary. 

 

Attention all JV and Varsity Boys Basketball players. There will be two open gyms this week right after school. Wednesday 10/25 and Thursday 10/26 at 2:45pm in the South Gym. This is for all players who are currently not playing a sport.

 

The Girls Swim Team swam to a 2nd place finish at the CCAA League Championships.  Molly Marshal helped lead the way with a 2nd place finish in the 100 fly and 2nd in the 100 Back.  Emmalie Gehm added top finishes in the 200 and 500 free placing 5th and 7th.  Toni Travis swam a season best performance in the 50 free placing 11th.
