 Reminder to all music students who are participating in the Frozen Food Fundraiser- all orders and money are due tomorrow!

 

The Spirit Week Wear for tomorrow is: PANTHER PRIDE DAY – Bring out your inner-PANTHER and show support by wearing Maroon & White.

 

THE HOMECOMING DANCE IS  SATURDAY FROM 8PM TO 11PM .  TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR Presale tickets.  Cost is $12 per person and can be purchased from Mrs. Welty BEFORE OR AFTER school and during Period X.  Prices increase to $15 per person if bought at the door.  This is a semi-formal dance so proper attire is required … NO JEANS AND NO HATS.

 

Listen up all you Hockey Fans…. On October 21st, the Sabres take on the Islanders at Key Bank Arena!  We are planning to take a group of 25 students.  This is a Saturday evening game – the bus will leave Portville around 4 pm and return to the school around Midnight.  Anyone in grades 9-12 interested in going, please sign up in the high school main office.  Seats are limited, so be sure to get your name on the list. 

 

Students in grades 9-12:  Are you interested in manufacturing, business or healthcare and want to work with people in the field.  The Cattaraugus County Career Academies offer a great opportunity to gain skills and increase your knowledge.  Stop by Mrs. Pascucci’s office by TODAY to find out more.  

 

Attention 7th and 8th Graders…

The Paw Print, Middle Grades Newspaper, will have our first meeting TODAY in Mrs. McMahon's room from 2:30-3:15.  We need photographers, artists, writers, researchers...there is something for everyone!   Can’t make the meeting, but still want to join?   Just send Mrs. McMahon a TEAMS CHAT or come see her in Room 143.

 

On Friday, Oct. 6th , we've planned a very cool adventure for 7-12 students. We're headed to Watkins Glen State Park to see the gorge & the falls, and then have lunch; after that, we'll head over to the Watkins Glen International Racetrack to preview some race car activity on the track! See Mr. Mitchell to sign-up and don't forget your permission slip. 

 

Attention 7-12 students: Would you like to explore America's ONLY underwater cavern; defeat Miner's Maze; and tour a Wildlife Park? We'll be traveling to PENN's Cave and Wildlife Park on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023. See Mr. Mitchell to sign up.

The modified Volleyball team improved to 5-0 last night with a win over Catt Little Valley. leading the way was Lilly Deck with 17 aces and 5 assists.  Emily Scanlon had 6 aces and 3 kills. Holly McDivitt also had 5 aces. 

 

"The girls' modified soccer team had a 2-1 double overtime victory versus Ellicottville. Lillyana Everitt had one goal and Anna Faulkner had the game winning golden goal. Nice work ladies!"
