Now for your PCS Spring Sports News: The Portville Lady Panthers defeated the Cuba-Rushford Rebels last night 6-0 in the first round of the 2nd Annual Don Jordan Memorial Tournament this evening! “Golden Glove” Alisha Dickerson was the winning pitcher having a solid performance on the mound tossing 13 strikeouts, 1 walk, and scattering 5 hits. The offensive attack was led by “Queen of the Plate” T. Kosinski who went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 runs. Peyton Young added a double, and a run, Bella Morales had a single and 2 RBI’s, while Madison Foster and Kelsey Bradford each chipped in a single, and a RBI to help the panthers cause. Portville will next host the winner of Allegany-Limestone & Randolph In the championship Saturday. Game time is currently set for 1:30pm. GO PANTHERS! |
