A reminder to all singers in the recital tonight – meet in the chorus room by 6:15 for warm-ups.

 

Attention Seniors- If you are interested in being an Ecology Camp Counselor, applications are available in the high school office.  The completed application is due back to Mrs. Baker by May 5th.    

 

There will be an International Club Meeting on Tuesday, May 2nd in the HS library during period x.

 

Gamer’s Club will be gathering this Friday, April 28th, from 2:45 to 5:45 in the High School library.  For more information stop by the Technology Office, Room 210.

 

Reminder to Juniors & Seniors:  Prom tickets are on sale.  The price is $50 per ticket.  Stop in to see Mrs. Pascucci or get your tickets during lunch at the cafeteria. 

 

Attention all students, in grades 7-12:  In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, PCS, in conjunction with the Eldred WWII Museum, is privileged to schedule a visit to the museum.  The trip will be held, this Sunday, April 30th from 1-3:30pm.  Sign up with Ms. Judy Maxson, Room #202, or send her a message in TEAMS.  The trip will include a museum tour and a live, in-person, presentation from an actual Holocaust Survivor, Grigory Shershnevsky.  There will be time at the end of his presentation to ask questions about what it was really like living in Europe during World War II and the Holocaust. 

 

Attention students who are interested in the Film Festival. Please meet in Mr. Mitchell's room tomorrow during period X. 

 

Reminder that Portville will be taking students to a Buffalo Bison’s game on Friday, June 2nd.  You can enjoy some food, Baseball, and fireworks. Please sign up outside of Mrs Morella’s room, 201, by May 19th and return the permission slip as soon as possible.

 Attention Modified Track Athletes! Practice today is from 4:15-5:15.

 

Congratulations to both the girls and boys varsity track teams with their wins over Salamanca. Scoring athletes included: Ava Haynes, Natalie Isaman, Addison Isaman, Samantha Bray, Olivia Dean, Jessica Daley, Jenna Wyant, Julia Wyant, Gianna Aloi, Alana Petersen, Emma Rhinehart, Airiana Whittaker, Aryanna Hatch, Hali Brundage, Natalie Maurer, Anna Keeley, Allison Bray, Darren Spring, David Brown, Kyle North, Daniel Vanbuskirk, Michael Fahnestock, Simon Szymanski, Riley Horsley, Brady German, Ben Isaman, Chris Austin, Paul Vos, Kent Little,  and Bryan Randolph.

 

The Portville Lady Panthers improved to 4 and 1 last night defeating West-Valley 17-5 at home. Alisha Dickerson was the winning pitcher tossing 9 strikeouts, 4 walks, and giving up 6 hits. Congrats to “Golden Glove” Myha Wilson for a solid performance in the outfield. Portville’s offensive attack was led by “Queen of the Plate” Madison Ford who went 2 for 3 with 2 singles, and 3 runs. Sam Steadman went 2- for 2 adding a double, a single, and 3 runs as well, while Mattison Foster chipped in 2 singles, 2 runs, and 1 RBI to help the Panthers cause. PCS travels to Catt-LV today to take on the Timberwolves in league action. Game time is 5:00pm. GO PANTHERS!!
