Juniors & Seniors:  Prom tickets are on sale.  The price is $50 per ticket.  Stop in to see Mrs. Pascucci or get your tickets during lunch at the cafeteria. 

 

Attention all students, in grades 7-12:  In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, PCS, in conjunction with the Eldred WWII Museum, is privileged to schedule a visit to the museum.  The trip will be held, this Sunday, April 30th from 1-3:30pm.  Sign up with Ms. Judy Maxson, Room #202, or send her a message in TEAMS.  The trip will include a museum tour and a live, in-person, presentation from an actual Holocaust Survivor, Grigory Shershnevsky.  There will be time at the end of his presentation to ask questions about what it was really like living in Europe during World War II and the Holocaust. 

 

Attention students who are interested in the Film Festival. Please meet in Mr. Mitchell's room this Thursday, during period X. 

 

If you are interested in flying the new racing drones, you can sign up in the envisioneering center. There are only 6 drones available so sign up today. We will be flying them on Tuesday April 25th from 2:45-4:45.  

  

Take me out to the ballgame!  Portville will be taking students to a Buffalo Bison’s game on Friday, June 2nd.  You can enjoy some food, Baseball, and fireworks. Please sign up outside of Mrs Morella’s room, 201, by May 19th and return the permission slip as soon as possible.

 

Congratulations to the JV softball team on their win last evening over rival Olean!  >span class="apple-converted-space">  Lead off hitter Emily Collins had 3 singles and two stolen bases, while Autumn Baker, Lauren Lyle, and Maddy Faulkner each had 3 hits.  Ella Warters had a double and hit an absolute rocket for her 2nd HR of the season with two outs in the top of the 7th, breaking the game wide open for the lady panthers!  Megan Wenke pitched 4.5 innings, surrendering only 1 hit while striking out 8 and came up big lacing a single and scoring 2 RBI’s in the 5th.   Keep up the great work ladies!!! 

 

Congratulations to both the girls and boys varsity track teams with their wins over Bolivar-Richburg. Scoring athletes included: Ava Haynes, Natalie Isaman, Addison Isaman, Samantha Bray, Olivia Dean, Jessica Daley, Jenna Wyant, Julia Wyant, Gianna Aloi, Alana Petersen, Emma Rhinehart, Airiana Whittaker, Aryanna Hatch, Anna Keeley, Allison Bray, Darren Spring, David Brown, Kyle North, Daniel Vanbuskirk, Michael Fahnestock, Simon Szymanski, Riley Horsley, Brady German, Ben Isaman, Chris Austin, Seth Vos, Paul Vos, Kent Little, Josh Kriger and lBryan Randolph. The teams travel to Salamanca today!
