Band lessons today are: Period 1: Chris Period 2: Davin Period 3: Amelia Period 5: James and Bryce Period 7: Shane

 

There will be a Student Council meeting during Period X in the library on Wednesday, 10/26.  On the agenda are the upcoming Blood Drive and voting for officers. 

 

Attention Sophomore class: There will be a class meeting during Period X today in the Cafeteria to distribute information/packets for our first fundraiser. Make sure you are in attendance. 

 

Students signed up for the Nightmare Hayride on Sunday, Oct 23, please remember to be at the front of the school by 6:20pm.  Dress warm.  Any questions see Mrs. Pascucci

 

"For anyone interested in Ski Club, there will be a meeting in Mr. Pleakis room today during Period X. Sophomores please attend your class meeting. Please see Mr. Pleakis if you cannot attend."

 

The International Club will be hosting a soup night fundraiser tonight during the football game. Stop by the bus garage to enjoy a fresh, warm bowl of soup and other goodies. $8 will get you a bowl of soup, dessert, and a bottle of water. Come support the International Club this Friday night!

 

Reminder that Sign-up sheets are hanging on the bulletin board outside Coach Welty’s room in the Math wing for ALL Winter Athletes….this includes Girls Basketball at all levels, Boys Basketball for the JV & Varsity level, and Wrestling for both Modified & Varsity.  If you intend on participating in any of the programs, get your name on the lists.  If you need to have a physical, please see our Nurse, Mrs. Kent, ASAP as those will take place on Wednesday, November 2nd

In addition to the other winter sport signs ups, competitive cheer is also having sign ups-please sign up outside Mrs. Colligan's office.  In order to compete, you must have an updated physical and the code of conduct must be done. 

 

In support of the Football game versus Randolph tonight, it has been declared a BLACK-OUT and to make it a bit more interesting, wear a CRAZY HAT.  Senior night recognition will begin at 6PM and the game starts at 7PM.  The boys would love to see as much student fan support as possible! 

 

 The JV volleyball team defeated Southwestern last night 2-1. Ali Haynes led the team with 10 kills, 11 digs, and 5 aces. Laney Vincent contributed 10 aces and 2 kills, Maddy Ford 6 aces and 4 kills and Marissa Carls led the offense with 13 assists and 3 aces. 

The Panthers will head to Victor Saturday for their last competition of the year. 

Congrats on a great season! 

 

The Panther Volleyball team clinched the CCAA West 1 league  title last night with their sweep over Southwestern 25-8, 25-10, 25-17 

 

Jillian stebbins led the offense with 25 assists and 3 aces

Tori Unverdorben added 10 digs, 8 kills, while  Sam Steadman served for 23 points with 13 aces, Natalie Maurer 6 digs, 1 kill, Lillian Bentley 10 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks and Ava Haynes 9 kills, 4 aces. 

The Panthers are now 15 & 0 and will host their first playoff match next Thursday at 6:00. 

 

Congrats to the boys varsity soccer team for surviving and advancing to the sectional semifinals. They defeated Randolph last night 2-1. 

 

Cole Faulkner put us up 1-0 17 minutes in. After a game tying goal by Randolph, we stayed tied until just under 6 minutes remaining. There, Mikey Cole found Brady Germans feet right in front of the goal, and he put it away for the game winner!

Next up, Wilson at West Seneca on Wednesday at 5pm. Let go boys!
