 Attention juniors! Pickup for our LA Cinnamon Bread fundraiser is today, after school, in Mr. Torrey’s room.  Don’t forget Juniors – that is today after school!

 The Student Council would like to thank all of the students who took part in Homecoming festivities!  Whether it was Spirit Week theme days, the powder-puff game, the parade, the football game, senior nights, or the actual dance, it seemed like our student body was having a great time.  Also, we set an all-time high in attendance at the dance with just over 275 teenagers.  That is a TON of kids!  Thanks for having pride in your school….PCS IS THE BEST!!  


Culinary club sign-up sheet is up for our next cooking adventure on Monday, October 17th.  Skillet Apple Pie is the dish. Don’t delay sign up today! Sign-up sheet is outside Mr. Mitchell’s room.

 Reminder to students that would like to stay after for Study Center – it will be held in Mr. Brennan’s Room 224.    If you need to take the late bus, be sure to sign up in the office right after school. 

 

Students in Grades 7-12… remember to Sign up to go to the Nightmare Hayride, Haunted Maze and Haunted Barn on October 23rd if you like a good scare!  Sign ups are located outside of the Guidance Office.

 

Attention Juniors and Seniors… If you are interested in taking the ASVAB on October 24th, please sign up in the Guidance Office before October 14th.  The test is free.

 

Sign-up sheets are hanging on the bulletin board outside Coach Welty’s room in the Math wing for ALL Winter Athletes….this includes Girls Basketball at all levels, Boys Basketball for the JV & Varsity level, and Wrestling for both Modified & Varsity.  If you intend on participating in any of the programs, get your name on the lists.  If you need to have a physical, please see our Nurse, Mrs. Kent, ASAP as those will take place on Wednesday, November 2nd

 

Congratulations to the girls JV soccer team with their victory against Springville last evening. The score for their final game of the season was 5 to 0. Emma Rhinehart and Bella Morales shared a shutout in goal. Ashley Carls scored off an assist from Ciera Zenner. Alexa Schoonover scored two goals with assists from Allie Bray and Alana Petersen. Allie Bray scored a goal. And the final goal scorer was Mindy Maurer with an assist from Alexa Schoonover. The girls finished their season undefeated with a record of 13-0-1. Congratulations on a successful season girls! 

 

The boys varsity soccer team defeated Gowanda/Pine Valley last night with a score of 4 to 1. Cole Faulkner, Simon Szymanski, Michael Cole, and Mario Pascucci each scored. Chris Austin, Braedon Carter, and Bryan Randolph each had an assist. This ended their regular season on a 7 game win streak and a league title!  Heading into the sectional tournament as the probable 2nd seed, they will play at home next Thursday at 3:30.
