Here is another Special Announcement from the Athletic Department:

Day 2 of Athletes of the Month: October                    Today we are recognizing Football, Cheerleading and Volleyball

Football

Luke Petryszak: 2nd on the team in rushing yards and rushing Touchdowns. with 270

Hayden Emley: Starting center as a sophomore, one of the toughest positions on the field to play.

Nik Manroe & Lucious Young: Both have started every game on the offensive line as sophomores. They split defensive POG honors vs. Franklinville-Ellicottville

Cheerleading

Alisha Dickerson-When we think of Alisha we think strong, fierce, and resilient.  Everyday she shows up to practice ready and willing to cheer. Her moves are strong  and sharp. What she lacks in jumps, this year, she achieves with her voice.  Her ability to pick up 8 counts quickly, retain and demonstrate are some characteristics that make her fierce. Everyday she gains more strength and mobility in her knee. Way to dominate Alisha.  We can’t wait to see her back at full pace next year jumping and stunting. Emily Scull-Usually the jokester, and more often the one we laugh at, is Emily. Our sweet Emily is a friend to all. Her willingness to help others in need, is heartfelt. She always giving an extra hand, and tries motivating all around her. Emily tries hard in all aspects of cheer, and has been deemed essential as both a back spotter and base.  Her most rewarding position to see throughout this season has been prop holder for GameDay. Her spirit is exuberant and enjoyable. Congratulations Emily Scull.

Volleyball

Lillian Bentley 174 kills, 84 aces, 20 blocks, 120 digs

Ava Haynes 125 digs, 13 aces, 118 kills,

Jillian Stebbins served for 170 points with 53 aces, 66 digs

Kylie Blessing 833 assists, 91 digs, 86 aces, 118 kills

Congratulations to all these athletes! Please see Mrs. Colligan for your t-shirt and certificate.
