TODAY IS…Monday, November 1st, 2021                                                              It is a “B”  Day

 

 

Last call for anyone wishing to donate blood tomorrow.  Please see Mrs. Welty or send her a TEAMS chat to reserve a time. It would be great if some adults in the building would sign-up as well. 

 

The National Honor Society started its annual canned food drive and will be collecting until Friday, November 19. Please bring any non-perishable food item to your homeroom teacher in the elementary or any high school classroom. Thank you for supporting the Portville food bank!

 

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Students… There will be a dance this Friday, November 5th from 7 to 9 pm.  Cost is $3.00.  Bring more money if you want to buy snacks.  Please come and dress appropriately but don’t feel like you have to go out and buy a new outfit!!

 

Reminder to PCS Athletes.. The Morning Weight Room challenge begins TODAY and ends on November 29th. Time to challenge yourself. There will also be awards for anyone with perfect attendance through the month of November. Weight room is from 6-7am Monday through Thursday. Please see Coach Milne with any questions. Hope to see you there. 

 

All Modified wrestlers practice begins TODAY right after school. Meet in Coach Milne's Room at 2:35 with gear ready to practice. If you have any questions please see Coach Milne or Burlingame. Let's go Portville.

 

Open Gyms start this week for Lady Panther basketball.  Any girls that are trying out for JV or Varsity are welcome to attend.  Those that are junior high age, should be attended those practices instead.  This week open gyms will take place after school until around 4PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Any questions, see Coach Welty.

 

Great job this weekend to our cheerleaders as they participated in the first ever Game Day States event! Also a special congratulations goes out to Taylor Chamberlain! She was awarded the Sportsmanship award for Section 6 Class D. Again great work ladies! 

 

 

The lady Panther volleyball team won their first playoff match on Friday night against Salamanca 25-9, 25-6 & 25-8

Sam Steadman  ran 15 aces, Tori Unverdorben added 5 kills, Olivia Cook 6 kills, Adriana Ensell 4 kills, 3 aces, Kylie Blessing 15 assists and 3 aces and MaxPrep player of the match Ava Haynes had 3 kills, 3 aces.   The Panthers will host falconer at home this evening for the semi final match.
