Special Announcement from the athletic department:

Congratulations to the following athletes on being named Athlete of the Month for September.

We are going to do this in 2 days because of the number of athletes:

Today we are recognizing cheerleaders and football.

Cheerleaders:

Caroline Todd: Caroline has built a bond with all of her teammates and does a lot behind the scenes to make sure her team is taken care of. Thank you for going above and beyond Caroline.

Demi Chudy- who could ask for a sweeter girl. Demi wears her heart on her sleeve and puts her cheer family first.  She attended every practice willing to take hits by spotting stunts or filling in when needed. Thank you Demi for your hard work and dedication.

Panya  Cammeyer- Panya is an amazing flyer.  She’s built a bond with her stunt group, who all push the limits to hit liberties, half ups, and they have an amazing basket toss.  She pushes herself to learn and strives for the very best. Her teammates love her and her smile. Congratulations Panya

Taylor Chamberlin- This is Taylor’s 3rd year for participating in football cheer and every year she gains more strength and beauty. Although she’s a rock-solid base, soaring through the air seems to be her thing. Her jumps are over extended, and her height is outstanding. We’re all envious.  Congratulations Taylor

Football:

Freshman running back Kaedon Holcomb:  He has 319 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns for the month of September.

Junior Zander Keim: Zander has 87 receiving yards, 3 total touchdowns and 28 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.

Junior Caiden Zollinger: has made 26 tackles this month.

Senior Dakota Mascho: has 12 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks

Congratulations to these athletes. We will be recognizing boys and girls soccer as well as volleyball tomorrow.

Please see Mrs. Colligan this week for your certificate and t-shirt.
