It is an “ E ”  Day


Attention all students in current grades 8-11, there are spaces available on the International Club trip to Europe. IF you are interested, contact Ms.  Nolder on teams for details. 


Modified and Varsity Football sign-ups are posted on the North Gym locker room door by Mr. Brooks’ office. Varsity starts practice March 22nd and Modified will start a week later on the 29th. See Mr. Brooks with any questions.


Those students that are in Physics Club are to report to Mr. Stives room TOMORROW - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17TH for a group photograph.  The photo will be taken at 1:45PM ……so don’t be late! 


The JV girls basketball team beat Silver Creek 64-16 this past Saturday. Leading the way was Jackie Scanlon scoring 23 points. 11 Lady Panthers scored a basket in the win. Last night, the girls improved to 14 and 0 with a commanding 67-16 win over Falconer. Mattie Foster had a career high 14 points, Ava Haynes added 11 points. 11 Lady Panthers scored a basket in this game as well, including Lou Artlip’s NBA 3-pointer. Great job girls!


The modified boys basketball team beat Franlinville 65-35 last night.  Chase Armstrong led the way with 15 points and Zach Green added 13. Braeden Carter and Jake Ziegler each scored 11 points for the Panthers.  Joe Johnson and Brady German each chipped in 6 Points and Abrahm Cook grabbed 9 rebounds!  Keep up the great work!


The JV boys basketball team improved their record to 4-2 with a 34-31 victory at Falconer last Friday night.

The Panthers built a 10 to 12 point lead which stayed fairly constant throughout the first 3 periods, with the Panthers leading 31-19 headed to the 4th quarter. Falconer then methodically chipped away at the lead, scoring 11 straight points to trail by 1 (31-30) with 2:28 remaining. The Panthers were able to outscore the Falcons 4-1 over the remainder of the game to secure the victory.


For Portville, Aiden DeFazio led the team in scoring with 10 points, while adding 4 steals, 3 assists and a blocked shot along the way. Ben Isaman scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Joey Funden scored 6 points, thanks to 2 three-pointers.


Other Panthers of note were Bryce Findlay who handed out 4 assists, and Troy VanSickle who led the team in rebounds with 7. He also had 3 steals and 2 assists. Ethan Obergfell also handed out 3 assists in the win.


Today’s Lunch Menu is a Hot Dog, baked beans, French fries, and fruit cup.  The Sandwich is Chicken Salad Croissant.
