It is a “ F ” Day
Attention all Portville Panthers: This Wednesday, March 3rd we will celebrate our 100th Day of School since we had to hold off a bit ago. The Student Council is encouraging all students to decorate their own shirts to be worn this day. You might just put a big 100 on the front. Maybe you will be creative and attach 100 items, such as sewing lifesavers to the shirt. There will be prizes for three students that have the best designs! The faculty and staff here at PCS are proud of how we have handled the pandemic and feel as though we should celebrate. Besides the t-shirts, the Student Council would like to have the high school students, perform 100 random acts of kindness throughout the day. If you do something thoughtful for someone in the building, you can grab a Panther paw from any of the Math teachers. They will have markers for you to write down your friendly deed and we will place them in the hallway from the Main Office to the Weight Room. There are almost 500 students in the building, so 100 acts of kindness should be an easy task for us to accomplish. Once again, we will be doing both of these things on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3RD!!
While we were on remote learning, the JV girls basketball team have improved their record to 6 and 0 with wins over Cuba-Rushford, Gowanda, Randolph, and Falconer. Jackie Scanlon has been leading the way averaging just shy of 15 points per game. Natalie Mauer have been terrific on the boards, averaging 10 rebounds per game. Alisha Dickerson has helped tremendously on the defensive side of ball with 5 blocks vs. Falconer. Keep up the great work Ladies!
Today’s Lunch Menu is Chicken Biscuit Casserole with Chef Salad and fruit. The sandwich today is Bologna.
