Happy Valentine’ s Day everyone!?!

 

"A reminder to all ski club members: The bus will be leaving the school at 2:30 on Monday. Don't be late, the bus will not wait!"  To repeat again….ATTENTION all ski club members:   The bus will be leaving the school at 2:30 on Monday. Don't be late, the bus will not wait!"

 

There will be an open gym TOMORROW from 10-12 in the south gym for any softball pitchers/catchers and any girls 7-8 that are interested in playing softball this spring are also invited to attend. 

 

Reminder to Seniors – if you worked the Art and Antique Show in the past and would like to be considered for College Scholarship money – please see Mrs. Baker in the High School Main Office for an application. 

 

Any 9th-12th grader interested in outdoor track and field for this coming spring, please sign up outside of the health classroom (Miss Stayer’s classroom).

 

Attention 7th and 8th graders!  Modified Track and Field sign-ups are posted outside Mrs. Mitchell’s room in the 7th grade hall and Mr. Mitchell’s room in the 8th grade hall. Don’t delay, sign-up today!

 

 

The Portville Boys Varsity Basketball team improved to 10-8 last night defeating the Golden Falcons of Falconer 68-46 on Senior Night! Portville was off to a slow start only leading Falconer by 3 at half time but a 26 point third quarter by the Panthers was the difference maker in this one. Portville was led by Dalton Tobola who scored 30 points and had 4 steals, while P.O.G. Mike Stillman added 11 points, 5 assists, and three steals, and Zaye Tarr chipped in 7 points and 6 rebounds to aid in PCS’s victory. Portville Boys Varsity Basketball would like to thank all 7 seniors: Jon Jordan, Mike Stillman, Colton Whitney, Dalton Tobola, Zayne Tarr, Cam Kalsman, and Parker Page for all of their contributions to the program. Their attitude and effort during this season and seasons past has helped pave the way for success of future generations. Portville travels to Oswayo Valley tonight to take on the Green Wave in a non-league matchup. Game time is 7:30pm. THANK YOU SENIORS and GO PANTHERS!!

 

LOST OR FOUND !?!?.......Students – if you are missing a bracelet, Nike Hat, or bright Orange Knit Hat – stop by the office to claim it before it goes away permanently. 

 

Reminder to all students… There is NO SCHOOL this coming Monday and Tuesday – February 17th and 18th in honor of President’s Day and a Winter Recess break.

 

All-County Chorus singers-please bring your all-county music to chorus today if possible.
