TODAY IS…. May 8, 2019                                    It is a “E day”


Seniors……Applications for Ecology Camp Counselors are available in the office.  If interested, please pick up an application in the office and return it to the office or to Mrs. Cole in room 100 no later than noon on May 22nd.

Any art student interested in going on the Art Society Field trip next week, you must get your permission slip and money into Ms. Burdick or Ms. Scott by the end of Friday.


Applications are now available for our PCS Summer Recreation Program.  The Program is scheduled to operate from July 8th thru August 8th.  Applicants should be at least 16 years of age and may require life guard certification.  Applications can be picked up and should be dropped off in the elementary office no later than May 31st.


Reminder to SENIORS:  When you are finished with the blue graduation information form, please bring to Mrs. Welty’s classroom or lab room as soon as you can.


Yearbooks are in limited supply.  If you intend on reserving a 2019 copy, you should go to and do so as soon as possible.  This is the only way to guarantee there will be a copy for you when they are delivered in the next few weeks.  


Junior and Senior Prom Ticket sales continue.  You must purchase your tickets no later than Thursday, May 9th.  They will be sold during lunch periods outside the cafeteria.


The Agenda Cover Contest will be coming to a close soon.  Please get your design for next year’s Student Agenda Handbook in to the Office.  Remember you could win a cash prize !!


SENIORS….  You only to the end of this week to turn in your scholarship application for Portville Arts, Crafts, and Antique Scholarship.  See Mrs. Baker in the Main Office to pick up an application.  Deadline is May 10th.   


Students interested in taking Summer Driver Education at Portville – Please stop by the Main Office to put your name on the interested list if you have not yet done so yet!


The Lady Panthers improve to 8-4 defeating a well-coached, tough Fillmore team 5-2 in the Panther Pit last night. Brooke DeYoe picked up the win on the mound tossing 3 strikeouts, 3 walks, and scattering 5 hits. She also earned “Queen of the Plate” status with two hits and driving in 2 runs. Felecia Capito was awarded the “Golden Glove” for her heads up double play at first base! Portville hosts Olean in league play tomorrow game time is 4:45pm. GO PANTHERS!!


Last night the varsity baseball team won 6 to 4 over Port Allegany. Joseph Long earned the win on the mound, and P.O.G. Nathan Petryszak slammed the door in the 7th. Cameron Lott had two hits including a double, and Michael Stillman hit a 2 RBI double for the Panthers. Portville hosts Olean today.
