Good Morning Portville Panthers!

Attention International Club Truffle sellers, please turn in your truffle order forms and money TODAY to Ms. Nolder.

 

Culinary Club is heading to Germany with schnitzel and spaetzle this Monday. Be sure to sign up for the experience!

 

Students are reminded they need to sign up and get permission slips if they want to go on the upcoming trips:

*Tuesday, April 11th: a trip to Urban Air- a two-hour all-activities pass AND *Thursday, April 13th: a trip to Lasertron- two exciting games of laser tag! Both trips include food!!   Sign up outside of Mr. Mitchell's classroom;  be sure to get the paperwork returned as soon as possible! 

 

TODAY IS THE THE blood drive in the North Gym from 8AM until 2PM.  Any student age 16 and older is eligible to donate.  Information and questions can be answered by Mrs. Welty.  Also, see her to sign up.  Our PCS goal is to have 40 people donate that day.  Please consider doing a small deed that can save three lives! 

    

TONIGHT IS THE FIRST NIGHT for the PCS Drama Club’s production of Frozen Jr.   You can get tickets through using the QR code on the posters hung around the building or stopping in to see Mrs. Maxson in Room 120. Tickets for Students are $8.00. Over 70 students from Grades 2-12 are in the show including 13 Seniors – you do not want to miss it!

 

Students and PCS Faculty and Staff - Bring your family and friends to the High School Cafeteria for a delicious Spaghetti Dinner tomorrow …... Our PCS Softball Team is hosting this dinner from 5 to 7 pm.  Cost is $8 for Adults and $5 for children under 12.

 

Attention students in grades 9-12 who are interested in creating original short films. There will be a meeting in Mr. Mitchell's classroom after school on Thursday, March 30th, to learn more about the Southern Tier Annual Film Festival. Send Mr. Mitchell a TEAMS chat if you're interested in learning more.

All varsity baseball players going to Myrtle Beach, please come to guidance at the end of announcements.

 

Congratulations to all of the lifter’s in this week’s Conditioning Challenge! This week we challenged the leg press. We had some big numbers, particularly from Demi Chudy, Journey Miller, Alaina Elliott. The overall female winner, pressing an astonishing 460 pounds is Mia Muscles McVinney and for the men, Ryan the lion Hepker. Nice work!!

 

We are looking to add a varsity boys club volleyball team for the next winter season, any boys in grades 8-11 that would be interested in playing please sign up outside Mrs. Colligan's office.   We will have a meeting with anyone interested once we get back from spring break.
