TODAY IS….  April 15, 2019                               It is an “A day”


International club travelers are to report to the HS library today after school.


The directors would like to give a shout out to the cast and crew of Beauty and the Beast.  Everybody did an awesome job this weekend! We would like to give extra kudos to our 13 seniors.  Thank you for your work and dedication to the Drama Club over the years.


Students – The Cattaraugus County Summer Youth Employment Program is underway.  Stop in the main office if you are interested in applying or need more information about this job opportunity.  Students age 14 through 20 can apply. 


The Agenda Cover Contest is still going on.  If you would like to take a chance on winning a cash prize – please consider turning in your design for next year’s Student Agenda Handbook to the Office soon.  You can do more than one cover design to submit.


As a reminder to all of the girls attending Women’s in Sports Day tomorrow, you need to dress in layers for both the indoor and outdoor activities. You also are responsible for bringing your own equipment if you chose softball. For tennis, we will take some from the school but you might want to bring your own. Please remember to bring a few dollars for ice cream. 


Attention golf team, practice is cancelled for today. We will practice tomorrow. 



The Portville Lady Panthers opened up league play Saturday defeating the Gators of Allegany-Limestone 10-0 through 5 innings at St. Bonaventure University. Brooke DeYoe captured the win on the mound tossing 4 K’s, walking none, and scattering 2 hits. She helped her cause at the plate as well going 2-3 with a single, a triple, 2 RBI’s, and 2 runs scored. Also putting up some nice numbers offensively for Portville was “Queen of the Plate” Mia Hlasnick who went 2-2 with a single, a double, 3 RBI’s, and 1 run scored. Portville next hosts the Catt-LV Timberwolves Monday April 15th, game time is 4:30. GO PANTHERS!!
